Parambi Plant Research and Education Foundation
The purpose of the Parambi Foundation is to integrate and educate people with the plants, to serve this we have established under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) and registered as NGO Darpan, CSR1. Parambi Plant Research and Education Foundation is a philanthropic organization conceptualized in 2016 and instituted in the year 2021 by young nature enthusiasts.
Our idea is to bring society closer through different nature-based solutions, biodiversity services and plant education for a sustainable future. We want to bring younger entrepreneurs, to spread awareness about plants and research.
Team Parambi is consistently working to understand the plant diversity around us, and providing pictorial identification remarks as well as taxonomic remarks through the artificial key to conclude identity of plant species. Our team is working on different plant groups for their taxonomic revisions. We believe that economic botany, plant based solution and its impact of human health hence we have collaboration with different organisations to perform authentication and well proven clinical research.

The state of Goa has cultural and traditional history. One such event celebrated in Goa and adjoining Konkan belt very joyfully with promoting and conservation natural resources. The Matoli is a traditional decoration to lord Ganesha, celebrated on Ganesh Chathurthi, where all the wild fruits, flowers are used. This is a showcase for seasonal biodiversity through which the knowledge about these wild plants have been transferred to the generation. Let us understand the story of Matoil from the expert in the field, Prof. Bhushan Bhave.
